About Syte Net Services
The company
Founded 1994
Syte Net Services was founded in Spokane in 1994 by Karl Hanson, who has since passed away. The company is led today by Becky Hanson, with Rob Musgrove as project manager.
The work has stayed the same for thirty years: data, voice, fiber and wireless cabling in commercial buildings, installed from the drawings we are given, in buildings that are usually already occupied. Hospitals, bank branches, downtown office towers, clinics, campuses and public facilities across Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
We bill time and materials because it is the honest way to price work in an existing building, where the ceiling always has a surprise in it.

Our specialty
Over thirty years in existing buildings
Since 1994, our work has been tenant improvements, remodels, expansions and relocations in buildings people are still using. That experience is what keeps a job moving when the ceiling, the closet or the existing cable isn't what the drawings show.
Occupied space
Tenants keep working, patients keep being seen, branches stay open. We schedule around them and leave the space clean at the end of every shift.
Existing pathways
Risers, sleeves and conduit that already exist get reused where they can be. We trace what's there before we pull anything new.
Undocumented closets
Years of previous vendors leave a lot behind. We label what we install, remove abandoned cable, and hand back a closet someone can read.
Recent jobs include a 567-drop tenant improvement and 69 wireless access points across two floors.
